Mission Statement

Faithful to the universal mission of the Church, the International Catholic Organizations Information Center (ICOIC) enables representatives of non-governmental organizations associated with the United Nations to meet as a community dedicated to peace, human rights, and the poor. Members gather on topics of mutual concern and issues relating to economic and social justice and development to exchange information, increase knowledge of current concerns, and to propose statements at appropriate UN gatherings. Information is shared with the wider Catholic community through seminars, briefings and publications.
